Our Success Story

Why do we raise Basset Hound Puppies?

I was fortunate to be born and raised on a farm... with puppies, dogs, horses, goats, and cats. In my family we were taught to treat our animals with compassion, to look out for their well-being, and to never neglect or abuse them. They were each a part of our big family. My parents raised puppies for many years, so I saw and experienced first-hand the ins and outs of breeding and raising healthy litters, how to choose pedigrees, etc.

When meeting the man who is now my husband, one of my first impressions was that he was taking care of someone else's little terrier as if it were his own. I knew that he had a kind and caring heart.

After getting married, we decided that a house was not a home without a dog. We bought one puppy...and then a second..and then a third. Now we have a small tribe of Basset Hound Puppies and a Wheaten terrier. We love them all.. they each have such unique personalities. Every morning they are so excited to see us and every evening when we sit down on the couches they come running for snuggles.

I work from home, so the puppies are rarely penned up or not with me. When they are, it is usually for a short amount of time while I run errands - or at night when they go to their tiny house with beds and blankets.

Our Basset Hound Puppies bring love and joy everywhere they go, and we are excited to be able to share them with you all! -Sue.
